The Jaylor 6425 is one of the most popular mixers on the market, well suited for herds of around 275 cows or up to 550 when feeding split herds. It is one of the most cost-effective ways to feed while maximising utilisation of the machine. A full load can be processed in under 30 minutes from the start of loading to unloading.

This single-auger mixer operates at 540 PTO rpm and requires as little as 80 hp to drive its heavy-duty planetary gearbox, which delivers an auger speed of 41 rpm. The patented slide-plate auger comes standard with nine knives, with options to add Alexander knives and lower-flight vertical knives, ideal for chopping fodder beet and other tubers. All 6000-series Jaylor mixers can be equipped with up to 13 blades per auger.

Jaylors low-mounted, square-cut auger design provides fast mixing times and an exceptionally consistent blend. The standard 6-ft (41-inch) chain-slat discharge elevator reduces feed build-up that commonly occurs with conveyor-belt systems. These machines also come with a generous warranty package.
